The best way to prevent underage drinking is to start talking with your child about it, early and often. Know When. Know How.

Conversation Starters & Tips

More Tips
  • See if alcohol is on your child’s radar. Ask if any classmates at school are talking about it.
  • Tie your conversation in with a topic of interest to your child such as science, sports or music.
  • Listen to the questions your child may have. If you don’t know the answer, look it up together.
